Also getting past the group over the bridge. When stepping into Viper's + yeti's battering on you. Dolyaks, Ripostes and Healing signet just doesn't work. You take too much dmg when Dolyak's is worn off.
And Boss + Yeti warrior is just killing you easily, even with Ausp. Parry and Ripostes. You can't keep them up for every blow. Once Dolyak's is gone you're doomed.
The last picture shows the boss on the bridge. How did you get him there?

Pulled him back a tad

I did this today and got the shield on first try. I don't have Glads defence...used Auspiciou Parry. Tips:
1. be patient in running past the outer Yetis
2.Auspicious parry > Riposte does about 80 damage every 3 seconds. pretty big. Just remember to spam that no matter what.
3. I used Scourge Healing and Bonetti's Defence. I have not tried it yet, but I sort of think that any interupt would do just as good.
4. You really don't even need Dolyks. Use Bonetti's defence to cover your heal and take an interupt.

After you actually get to the boss, dolyak and AP must be thrown on right away. After that, use healing sig if needed, then start thinking about your attack skills. Scourge healing first, then your Ripostes'. Make absolutely sure that you have Dolyak up before using Heal Sig. Casting Heal Seal Sig immediately after AP or one of the Riposte's 'should' be safe as well, but I rarely have time to sneak it in that way.
Personally, I use Glad's Defense and I stay alive fine. Glad's also helps when running through the first few mobs on the way there. Here's a modded version of the build that I sometimes use (if you enjoy having lots of things hitting you all at once):
Glad's Defense
Watch Yourself
Dolyak Sig
Heal Sig
Balth's Spirit
Scourge Healing
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
(same attributes)
I sacrifice Sprint for Watch Yourself, but as long as you can dodge and weave your way to the actual fat man without being blocked off, then it doesn't really matter if the mobs follow you or not (damage reduction ftw).

Could a Sprit Bond Monk work for this? I was thinking more like Mo/E to direct all of the damage to the boss.

this build rocks, I got my shield...eventually. took a long time though. Sometimes you hit some bad spawns getting to the boss, and you have to watch out for traps.

I found this thread today and tried it out. Like many others, I am getting owned as a W/Mo. Tried out W/Me and works very nice. Runs are 5-10min long. I can go straight up to the boss, slap on physical resistance and own him by spamming sig of midnight, spirit of failure, empathy, and ignorance. A tip is to back up once the Yeti ritualist lays his spirits just enough so that the spirits can't hit you (of course don't back up too far and into the group of Yeti's behind you). No shield yet but I've only killed him about 3 times. He hasn't dropped anything in those runs either. Anti-Farm code?? Edit: No drops for another 10 kills. All of a sudden he started dropping again and finally got the shield on about the 15th kill.
12 Domination
6 Inspiration
13 Tactics (No Superior Tactics on Tactics +1 Helm atm)
Shield with +45HP -2dmg (in stance) is ideal
Sig of Midnight
Empathy
Ignorance
Deadly Riposte
Spirit of Failure
Heal Sig
Physical Resistance
Sprint

Yes, a spirit bond build will work, but I have to use MelechRic's N/Mo to do it instead of a Mo/E...

You know, I dont do any damage... ever. Maybe I am unfamiliar with the skills, but if i actually activate riptose and block an attack should I not do damage? I know for a fact that Gladiators Defense works against the trolls, but against the Yetis it does not. So what gives?

It does work against the Yetis. Make sure you're not attacking the Ritualist Yeti - ONLY the warrior Yeti and the boss himself. Ignore the Ritualist Dude completely.

I have a Mo/E build
Burning Speed
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Scourge Healing
Shield of Judgement
Balthezar's Spirit
Essence Bond
Retribution
Fire Magic: 9
Protection: 12
Smiting: 11
Divine: 5
You can put the remaining in divine favor so you can get a little extra heal
Start by gathering a good following of yetis then grab mountain cub. Use burning speed and scourge. Then SOJ. Oh and try to steer clear of spirits (pain, shadowsong) because they do like 23 damage.. which doesnt trigger SB.
(just made this yesterday, havent had time to tweak) Silver Armor doesnt work well because it doesnt provide enough damage and the recharge is long enough that by the time you get off another hes healed up.

Spirit bonder Mo/E with Glyph of Renewal and Sliver Armor. Sliver is up almost all the time - lasts 12 secs (with +20% enchant mod), recharge in 15 secs using GoR. As usual, remove chest armor if u r having problem with SB.
Arrahhsh dies by the 3rd sliver cast, with aggro from the 2 grps from the bridge. He takes double damage from sliver while using heal sig. Works fine for me.
Obviously E/Mo will be faster, but my ele is still sitting in marketplace! =p

this build works great, (i got it on my first run), but it did take a while because even with the smite, his healing sig kept healing and it took a bit longer for me to kill him, maybe replace heal sig with distracting blow? it might make things quicker, but then again its a do or die moment i suppose.
